Microseismicity in the period 01/2021-06/2021 at the Oceanographer transform fault, Mid-Atlantic Ridge, 36°N: SEISAN/MSEED waveform files

DOI

In January to June of 2021 a seismic network of ocean-bottom-seismometers was deployed along the Oceanographer Transform Fault offsetting the Mid-Atlantic Ridge to the south of the Azores. This dataset provides waveform event files of the largest local earthquakes detected in contineous waveform data, ranging in magnitude from Mw~1.5 to 3.5. The accompanying zip-file includes raw waveform data for events in mseed format (https://ds.iris.edu/ds/nodes/dmc/data/formats/miniseed) of 26 seafloor-moored seismic stations recording data. Note that seismic stations had a variable installation time of 21 days to 140 days. All data in the zipped file may be processed and used with the SEISAN seismology software.
