Example data and scripts for 'Warping methods for spectroscopic and chromatographic signal alignment: A tutorial'

This dataset contains example data and R and Matlab scripts that reproduce the analyses and figures from the article 'Warping methods for spectroscopic and chromatographic signal alignment: A tutorial' (DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.aca.2013.03.048). The paper reviews and explains a number of the most frequently used techniques for signal (i.e. a spectrum or a chromatogram) alignment by means of 'warping'.

The scripts in this dataset are meant to be read. They serve as examples and starting guides for those interested in alignment / warping, as an addition to the textual explanation in the paper. Simply running the scripts as ‘black boxes’ is not very useful, since they will simply reproduce the figures from the paper and the Supporting Information. The scripts are annotated (quite extensively, in some cases), so as to make clear what is being done.
