Nordicana-D8: Borehole and near-surface ground temperatures in northeastern Canada - Tasiujaq

Datasets in this issue of Nordicana-D (D8) include borehole data collected in the vicinity of Tasiujaq, Nunavik, northeastern Canada. The measurement sites are part of the SILA network of the Center for Northern Studies (CEN Centre d'études nordiques); climate data are also available in other issues of Nordicana-D. Tasiujaq data covers the period from 1988-2014, at depth ranges of: 100-2000 cm (TSJQ304) and 0-1100 cm (TSJQ304). Average ground temperature (Deg. C) is available as: (1) recorded data, which is the average of 60 recorded measurements of the previous hour; (2) daily average; (3) monthly average; and (4) yearly average. The same issue of Nordicana-D includes borehole measurements in 10 other locations in Nunavik and Nunavut - Akulivik, Aupaluk, Bylot, Iqaluit, Kangiqsualujjuaq, Pangnirtung, Puvirnituq, Quaqtaq, Salluit, Umiujaq - for which metadata records are also available in the Polar Data Catalogue.
